Dr. Koren Ganas is excited to announce the expansion of her practice with the launch of an innovative clinical psychology service. Equine-Facilitated Psychological Therapy & Learning (EFPL) is an integrative, evidence-based approach combining trauma-informed psychological care with the natural therapeutic presence of horses, offering a holistic option for individuals struggling with various mental health, traumatic stress, skill-building, or personal development related concerns. EFPL sessions at Ganas Clinical Psychology may be eligible for Medicare and NDIS depending on your specific needs and goals.
Equine Facilitated Psychological Therapy (EFP)
EFP sessions are individual, evidence-based & trauma-sensitive. Our diversity affirming, culturally responsive clinical services are grounded in current research and tailored to each client's unique needs. Your individualised treatment plan may include a combination of EFP and traditional sessions depending on your specific needs. EFP sessions are commonly incorporated in treatment plans for clients referred for services to address:
